Joseph Pentheroudakis started taking evening art classes at Pratt Fine Arts Center in Seattle in 1996. He was a founding member in 1999 of the Columbia City Gallery and of Seattle Print Arts, an organization for print artists and others interested in printmaking.
In 2005 he wrapped up a long career in linguistics and language software development and enrolled in the drawing program at Seattle’s Gage Academy of Art. In 2011 two of his drawings were included in Gage instructor Margaret Davidson’s book Contemporary Drawing: Key Concepts and Techniques.
His drawings are in many private collections.
